Ph.D., Associate Professor, recipient of the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Shaanxi Province, and Visiting Scholar at the Center for Microbial Ecology & Technology (CMET), Ghent University, Belgium. His current research focuses on efficient pollution control and remediation technologies driven by the interactions between environmental functional materials and microbial processes. Specific research interests include: (i) coupled abiotic–biotic remediation of chlorinated hydrocarbon co-contamination in soil and groundwater, (ii) mechanistic elucidation of microbially driven sulfidation of zero-valent iron and regulation of its reductive dechlorination interface properties, and (iii) structural and functional characterization of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) in microbial aggregates. He has presided over multiple national and provincial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Zhejiang Provincial Public Welfare Research Program, and sub-projects of Zhejiang Provincial Key R&D Program. To date, he has published more than 20 papers as first author or co-author in leading international journals in the field of environmental science, such as Environmental Science & Technology and Water Research.
