Sunjianqiang

Dr. Jianqiang Sun is a Professor of Environmental Chemistry and Soil Science at the College of Environment, Zhejiang University of Technology, China, where he obtained his PhD degree in 2012 (Supervised by Prof. Weiping Liu) and has been Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor since 2019. During his postdoctoral training (2014-2015), he started the research on plant metabolism at the University of California, Riverside (Cooperation with Prof. Jay Gan). Currently, his main research area includes environmental fate, behavior, and ecological effect of organic pollution in the agricultural ecosystem, with special interests focusing on the plant uptake and metabolism of emerging contaminants in the soil-plant system. Moreover, he offered a national first-class course “Environmental Protection and Eco-civilization” for open online scientific education.
