  • Biography

      Shen Mengfen is an associate professor at the College of Civil Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, China. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, USA. Her main research directions include: soil liquefaction, ground improvement, intelligent monitoring, risk analysis of geotechnical and geological engineering, and robust optimization design. She has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation project and 2 Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, and has published many high-quality SCI papers. She teaches courses such as Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, and Introduction to Intelligent Construction, etc. She has presided over one provincial-level and one university-level education reform project respectively. Her teaching quality is widely praised, and she once won the title of the Most Popular Teacher among International Students at Zhejiang University of Technology.
