Research Assistant., Zhejiang University, 2015-2020 Developed statics and dynamics equations of tensegrity structures based on FEM Studied form-finding of tensegrity structures based on the Levenberg–Marquardt method. Proposed a novel tensegrity torus and optimized the shape for minimal mass under stability constraints. Proposed a new genetic algorithm-based topology optimization method of tensegrity tori. Investigated the mechanics of self-equilibrated tensegrity cable domes by simulations and experiments.
