His main research focuses on the precise delivery of food nutrients and nutritional intervention. As a key contributor, he has won 6 scientific and technological awards, including the Second Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Natural Science Award, and the First Prize of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award. He has successively presided over more than 10 projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (General Program, Youth Program, International Cooperation and Exchange Program), sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and scientific research funds of provincial universities. In recent years, he/she has published more than 50 academic papers (with an H-index of 30) as the first author or corresponding author in journals such as Food Hydrocolloids and Advanced Healthcare Materials; he also holds 1 authorized U.S. patent and 17 authorized Chinese patents. He serves as a Director and Member of the Youth Committee of the Zhejiang Institute of Food Science, as well as a Youth Editorial Board Member for journals including Science and Technology of Food Industry and Food Innovation and Advances.
