    🔬 Research Focus

    Dr. Xi Chen's interdisciplinary research spans spatiotemporal intelligenceremote sensing and geographic information systems (RS&GIS), and sustainable development . His work integrates geospatial technology with environmental science to address critical challenges in arid and semi-arid regions.

    🏆 Academic Leadership

    • Led national flagship research programs as Chief Scientist, including the National 973 Program, National Major Engineering Projects, and Key International Cooperation Initiatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
